From the country’s first telephones to a digital Azerbaijan.

2019

Aztelekom LLC obtained the ISO 9001:2015 certificate for the processes of monitoring and selling telecommunications services.

2015

To implement a customer-oriented business model and improve business processes, Aztelekom Production Association was reorganized into Aztelekom Limited Liability Company.

2005

To make landline communication more convenient for citizens, Aztelekom launched a wireless portable telephone service using CDMA technology.

1992

Aztelekom Production Association was established on the basis of the Telephone Communications Production Association to provide telecommunications services across all regions of the country.

2025

In 2025, Aztelekom LLC received three prestigious international awards: the Speedtest Award for Fastest Fixed Network, the Best Practice of Home Broadband Development Award, and the Gigacity Champion Award.

2018

At the 2018 Caspian Business Award ceremony, Aztelekom received the “Company of the Year for High-Quality Telecommunications Services” award.

2014

Aztelekom, which had received numerous awards and certificates from various organizations and institutions, was recognized by Consulting & Business magazine in the category “Company of the Year in Communications and Information Technologies.”

2004

In response to the growing demand for internet access in the regions, Aztelekom established its own internet service provider.

1933

As the telephone network continued to expand, telephone exchanges were established not only in city centers but also in settlements and villages. The Baku Intercity Telephone Station was separated from the Baku City Telephone Station and began operating as an independent entity.

1881

The telephone network in Azerbaijan was established by the Nobel Brothers Company with the installation of the country’s first telephone line.
