A decision has been made regarding the reorganization of Aztelekom

“Aztelekom” LLC, operating under the Azerbaijan Transport and Communications Holding (AZCON Holding), is being reorganized through the merger with “Baku Telephone Communications” LLC, “AzEuroTel” LLC, the International Automatic Telephone Exchange of the “Aztelekom” Production Association of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ganja Telecommunications Department, “Azerrabitelayiha” LLC, and the Sumgait Telecommunications Hub.

The creation of a unified management center will simplify administrative processes, increase the efficiency of resource utilization, and reduce both capital and operating costs, including the use of state funds. The goal is to manage investments, attract highly qualified personnel, and implement projects that support digital development from a single center.

This reorganization will eliminate duplicated processes, enable more agile operations, and simplify decision-making. One of the new entity’s key priorities will be the establishment of a management mechanism that allows for better coordination and alignment of strategic objectives. Operating within a unified management framework will also foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation.

The restructuring of management will optimize existing connection processes within the subsidiaries, leading to higher customer satisfaction and improved digital accessibility. Another main objective of the reorganization is to enhance the level and quality of services provided to customers.

It should be noted that Aztelekom, the main operator of the successfully completed “Online Azerbaijan” megaproject, has been awarded the “Speedtest Award for Fastest Fixed Network” by the global broadband and mobile network analytics company Ookla, as well as the “Best Practice of Home Broadband Development Award” by the prestigious IDATE company, which has 45 years of international experience in digital transformation. Both awards were presented for the first time in the country’s history to a fixed network internet provider.
