Communications and Internet infrastructure is being updated in Goygol

Aztelekom LLC of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies continues reconstruction work of telecommunications infrastructure on the basis of the latest technologies in the regions. In order to improve the quality of services rendered to the customers, necessary measurements are carried out in the direction of modernization of the network. Line network of central and rural electronic ATSs is technically normalized and old equipment is replaced  with new one.

According to the State Program on socia-economic development of the regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2014-2018, a number of useful measurements were taken in order to meet additional demands of people on telephone and broadband Internet services. Line network of rural electronic ATSs was expanded and people were provided with telephone and Internet lines.

18 telephone post were laid, the construction-mounting work was over by using 3280m cabels of different types, 65 telephones were installed in Panahlar village of the region. Modern equipment was put into operation for connection of new subscribers to the Internet.    

Houses where did not exist telephone were provided with communications services by carrying out similar work in Toghanali village and Dirchelish street of Goygol city.

In order to improve the aesthetic appearance, some parts of the communications systems locating in the road crossings inside the village were transfered by constructing underground facilities in Ashigli.    

For the purpose of setting up communications-Internet network for holding the group matches of Women’s European Volleyball Championship in Olympics Sports Complex of Goygol which will be held in Azerbaijan , excavation work was done in 285m,  the polyethylene pipe of 285 m 100 mm was put down, 6 communicatios wells were built, 585 m optical cable including underground communications devices was installed and put into operation.   

In order to meet extra demands of telephone subscribers on broadband Internet services, Internet port capacity increased by 6.6% through installing new Internet equipment in Panahlar,  Hajimalik, Mollajalilli, Girickli, Uctapa, Yeni Gizilja, Chaykend, Shahriyar, Gizilja villages in 2017. More 284 new telephones were intsalled during 2017.

People and organisations are rendered with high quality broadband Internet services in 37 settlements of the region.

It was done a number of repair and maintenance work in air communication lines coming from the central electonic ATS of Goygol to the distance of 5,5 km in Ashigli and Zod villages, to the distance of 6 km in Shahriyar, Zurnabad, Topalhasanli villages and to Khanlar settlement. Roadside communication lines were technically normalized in 2017.

The work towards the installation of telephone lines and rendering broadband Internet services will be continued by Goygol Telecommunications Junction in the future.
